The Source of Light
The Source of Light collection draws its inspiration from traditional Japanese woodblock prints, depicting idyllic landscapes of sacred nature—from the iconic Mount Fuji and blooming cherry blossoms to peaceful waters and delicate wooden bridges, alongside theatrical Kabuki figures and graceful Geishas.
Defined by a soft palette of muted pastel gradients, the pieces capture a gentle, luminous glow emanating from deep sunrise, sunset, and moonlight skies. The collection’s name—Hikari (The Source of Light)—reflects not only this radiant atmosphere but also carries a deeply personal connection, representing the designer's name and infusing each piece with soul.
Handcrafted from natural felt using specialized oxidation and dyeing processes, each hat features intricate hand embroidery, felting, and fine needlework to deliver rich textures and a nostalgic, timeless feel.
